Is there a way to track my product key for microsoft office 2007?
Okay, I bought the full student version or whatever last December online. My laptop unfortunately crashed and left me with only my back-up file to install it. Is there a way to contact microsoft where I can just put my name in and they can track it down. I swear I bought it too!

Download ‘Belarc Advisor’ which will after download, give you a read out of all programs,
installed on the laptop – including serial numbers.
PRINT OUT a copy of this (something I do every month or so) as back up of serial numbers ESPECIALLY – my print out is 4 pages.
You will then have a permanent record. Very handy indeed!

If you downloaded it off of MSDN you can looks up past purchases and they’ll have your key recorded in your downloaded software records. This program audits your PC’s hardware and software for you. The report the it gives you will have the product keys http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html just so you can find em all and keep em for next time.

Contact MS and give them the Product ID from your version of Office. You can find it on the About screen. They will then supply you with a Product Key that will allow you to use their product. Try to keep the key somewhere safe where you can find it if needs be in the future.

There is no need to contact Microsoft support, just use the Product Key Finder program:
http://www.top-password.com/product-key-finder.html
It allows you recover lost product keys of Windows and Office for any computer, even if your computer is crashed… Good luck!
